 Dr. Seung K. Kim, MD has been practicing plastic surgery in the Bay area for more than twenty years. His masterful technique and thoughtful innovations in the field have gained him recognition as one of the area's premiere plastic surgeons.
After graduating from Dartmouth College with honors including Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Kim attended Stanford University for his entire medical education -- medical school, general surgery and plastic surgery training. He was an assistant professor in plastic surgery at Stanford from 1983 to 1987 and has been a clinical faculty member at Stanford ever since.
Dr. Kim believes in lifetime learning. He constantly evaluates his own work critically to refine his expertise. He regularly attends educational meetings to stay current with the latest advances in plastic surgery. He incorporates new techniques into his own practice only after he evaluates their effectiveness and safety thoroughly. Dr. Kim is also passionate about teaching. As Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at Stanford, he devotes many hours teaching young doctors in training.
Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only nationally recognized certifying board for plastic surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).

 After graduating from high school, Pat joined the Air Force and proudly served for 24 years. Good people skills and a genuine care for others led her into a patient care coordinator career. She has been extremely helpful in aiding our patients with her understanding of specific procedures and facilitating the process of scheduling surgery. As office manager, she is responsible for the overall smooth running of all office activities. Her honesty, dedication, and loyalty make her a pleasure to work with and be around.

 Kathy has actively practiced as a plastic surgery nurse for over 15 years. She specializes in injectables (Botox, Restylane and Juvederm), chemical peels, and permanent makeup tattooing. Her experience is extensive and multidimensional, as her career path has included assisting with the development of a medical start-up company, obtaining a patent for an orthopedic medical device, and extensive traveling to train and educate health care professionals in her innovations . Kathy is acknowledged as one of the best permanent makeup artists in the region. Besides the steady technique, she has an eye for artistic balance and color selection,making her a rare find. - Licensed Aesthetician /Patient Care Coordinator
 Cyndi joined our practice after ending a seven-year career as a flight attendant for United Airlines. Since then, she has eagerly taken on many roles, including patient coordinator, surgery counselor, marketing consultant, makeup artist, editor of our practice newsletter, and now, licensed aesthetician. She received her esthetics license in May of 2006 and has since expanded our practice's skincare offerings by adding clinical facials and chemical peels to our menu of non-surgical procedures.  Jen is a certified laser nurse, specializing in Photofacial treatments. She is an expert in this unique technology used for rejuvenating sun-damaged and aging skin, and for hair reduction. Jen also assists Dr. Kim with in-office surgical procedures and with after-surgery care of our patients. Because she enjoys taking care of patients she plans to be increasingly involved with the follow-up care of surgical patients. Before joining our office she worked as registered nurse taking care of in-hospital patients.
