 Dr. Seung K. Kim, MD has been practicing plastic surgery in the Bay area for more than twenty years. His masterful technique and thoughtful innovations in the field have gained him recognition as one of the area's premiere plastic surgeons.
After graduating from Dartmouth College with honors including Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Kim attended Stanford University for his entire medical education -- medical school, general surgery and plastic surgery training. He was an assistant professor in plastic surgery at Stanford from 1983 to 1987 and has been a clinical faculty member at Stanford ever since.
Dr. Kim believes in lifetime learning. He constantly evaluates his own work critically to refine his expertise. He regularly attends educational meetings to stay current with the latest advances in plastic surgery. He incorporates new techniques into his own practice only after he evaluates their effectiveness and safety thoroughly. Dr. Kim is also passionate about teaching. As Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at Stanford, he devotes many hours teaching young doctors in training.
Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only nationally recognized certifying board for plastic surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).

Since then, she has eagerly taken on many roles, including patient coordinator, surgery counselor, marketing consultant, makeup artist, editor of our practice newsletter, licensed aesthetician, and now as our office manager. She has a passion for helping patients achieve their beauty goals by being their advocate throughout the surgical process as well as educating about non-surgical treatments and skincare.  Alla graduated college in Saint Petersburg, Russia with a degree in nursing. Since then she has taken multiple courses in nursing and cosmetic treatments in the US. Alla has worked in every type of medical environment, from wellness care to invasive surgery and has gained expertise in a variety of medical treatments and their delivery. Today, as a specialist in a rapidly growing field of cosmetology, she is constantly exploring novel developments and undergoing training in new and proven techniques. Her enthusiasm and fascination has made her an expert in many procedures from basic non-invasive skin care to complex laser and injection treatments. Because of her diverse experiences, Alla takes an individualized approach towards each of her clients and takes into account not only their appearance, but even the subtlest health conditions. She strives to find the optimal, least uncomfortable way to bring out the natural beauty in her clients.
