Juvéderm Ultra XC & Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC
JUVEDERM XC is the only hyaluronic acid (HA) filler FDA-approved to last up to 1 year, and the new JUVÉDERM® XC formulation is enhanced for patient comfort. The injectable gel instantly restores your skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds – the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth).
How it works
The injection process takes only about 15 minutes and results are immediate. New JUVÉDERM® XC is now formulated with an anesthetic for a more comfortable patient experience.
Good for
Smoothing and plumping up of both deep facial wrinkles and fine lines around the nose and mouth. Results are immediate and natural looking, and can last for up to a year.
Recovery Time
Normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment. Just like any injection, you may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve on their own.
Juvéderm Voluma
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area, giving you a subtle midface lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile for up to 2 years in patients over the age of 21. Not to be confused with JUVÉDERM® XC, which smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC corrects age-related volume loss in the cheek area.
How it works
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC, VOLLURE and VOLBELLA are injected beneath the skin using a fine needle. Below the dermis, the filler will bind with water and the naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in your body.
JUVEDERM VOLUMA increases the volume under the skin to fill out age-related hollowing and sagging of the cheeks.
JUVÉDERM VOLLURE softens moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth for subtle yet long lasting results.
JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA is tailored to add subtle volume to the lips and smooth the appearance of vertical lip lines.

Lifting and firming the cheek area subtly for a more youthful appearance. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is clinically proven to last up to 2 years with optimal treatment. VOLLURE is indicated to last up to 18 months in the lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth. VOLBELLA has been proven to last up to one year in the lips and lip lines.
Recovery Time
Normal activities can be resumed after 24 hours. Side effects are moderate. Common side effects include temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching.
