Restylane is hyaluronic acid filler that add volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose
to the corners of your mouth (known as nasolabial folds). After treatment with Restylane or Perlane, the “hydrophilic” or water-loving nature of the hyaluronic acid molecules allow them to bind many times to the own weight in water as they slowly break down, helping to maintain volume for about 6 months.

How it works

Restylane is injected using a fine needle in one or more injection points. The hyaluronic acid in the filler adheres to the skin as the water contained in the acid helps to retain volume under the skin’s surface. The substance acts as a magnet for water, helping to preserve the renewed volume of the skin.

Restylane, Restylane Silk, and Restylane Lyft are formulated with NASHA technology, giving each product a unique particle size for a tailored treatment.

The newest members of the Restylane family, Restylane Refyne and Restylane Defyne are flexible hyaluronic acid gels designed to give you the flexibility to show your natural range of facial expression.

Good for

Visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, particularly around the nose and mouth, for a more youthful appearance. Restylane can help soften the dark hollows in the lower eyelid trough, making you appear more healthy and rested.

Recovery Time

Normal activities can be resumed immediately after treatment. Just like any injection, you may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve on their own.
